Quick and easy absorption of water and the equal distribution of water throughout the substrate is a vital feature of a growing medium.

High Quality Stone Wool: Not only can users expect top-quality stone wool in the market, but Cultiwool is also proud to introduce the revolutionary 'donut ring' for the retail market. This new addition aims to further improve water distribution. This feature complements the highly appreciated cross grooves designed to enhance water flow beneath the block and the black/white foil to thwart algae growth.

Unique Drain Grooves: Cultiwool substrate blocks are equipped with drain grooves at the bottom. These grooves significantly improve the water flow under the block, especially useful when the substrate blocks are placed on cultivation tables and concrete floors. Another benefit of the drain grooves is the limited contact surface with the ground, which can prevent diseases from invading the plant through weak roots often linked with high temperatures.

Innovative Donut Ring: As an industry first, Cultiwool will further enhance the substrate with a donut ring. This is a water chamber around the plug hole where your drippers can be placed. With the donut ring, you will witness an even more uniform distribution of the water throughout the block. Its second advantage is the elimination of any errors in the positioning of the drippers in the block.
